UNITED
KINGDOM CREW RESOURCE MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTOR (CRMI) COURSE
Our five day ‘Train the Trainer’
programme can result in the successful participant being awarded
full licensed status by the UKCAA as a ‘United Kingdom
Crew Resource Management Instructor’ (UKCRMI). The programme
content meets the standard CRM requirements and recommendations
of EASA, CAA, FAA and ICAO. Individuals wishing to deliver
ground or line training in the aviation industry must hold
this certification. The awarding body is the UKCAA, on whose
behalf we are an accredited examining body.
CREW RESOURCE
MANAGEMENT (CRM) FOUNDATION PROGRAMME This two day CRM Foundation program is
designed to fulfil the needs of a cross section of professions
including Pilots, Flight Engineers, Cabin Crew, Observers,
Maintenance Technicians, Air Traffic Control and all medical
personnel associated with air operations.
The aims of the programme are to enhance flight safety, raise
awareness of the adverse effects of stress and fatigue, increase
individuals’ ‘capacity’ by giving them a
thorough understanding of personality types and encourage
continued learning of Human Factors in Aviation.
All our CRM instructors, delivering to military clients, have
experience on both fixed wing and rotary aircraft, and have
worked with the security forces, involving all types of operations,
including Sensor Ops, NVG, Vehicle Pursuit and deployment
of mobile Police Teams. Further experience includes Operational
Combat, Search and Rescue, Fast Jet ops, Rotary Ops, Heavy
Transport ops, Medivac and Casevac. Similarly, our CRM instructors
used for our commercial clients also have extensive expertise
within the commercial airline industry. In addition to instructors
who are experienced flight crews, we also supply instructors
who specialise in Aviation Medicine and casualty evacuation.
An essential part of our programme centres on the ‘Limits
of Human Performance’, which we also tailor to suit
the requirements of those clients who are commencing NVG training
programmes.
Our foundation programme lasts two days and is fully approved
by, and compliant with, the requirements of, the FAA, EASA
and the UKCAA, and all participants receive a certificate
to this effect.
HUMAN FACTORS
AWARENESS AND INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS The aim of this two day programme is to
raise awareness of how an individual can make such an influential
impact within a team. It also seeks to enhance an individual’s
personal development, by raising awareness of how the effects
of stress and fatigue adversely affect Human Performance and
Decision Making.
MYERS BRIGGS
TYPE INDICATOR (MBTI) AWARENESS PROGRAMME The aim of the one day Course is to provide
delegates with a thorough understanding of Personality Type
and how to recognise (and therefore, resolve) the predictable
behavioural changes that take place when an individual is exposed
to a stressful situation. Thereby understanding how behavioural
changes manifest themselves in the working environment.
