CREW RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
(CRM) FOUNDATION PROGRAMME
The aims of the Crew Resource
Management Foundation Programme are:
To enhance Flight Safety, by raising awareness
of how the effects of stress and fatigue adversely affect Human
Performance and Decision Making.
To raise an individual’s ‘capacity’
by equipping them with a thorough understanding of Personality
Type and how to recognise (and therefore, resolve) the predictable
behavioural changes that take place when an individual is exposed
to a stressful situation.
To bring all participants to the same foundation
training level that is now mandated worldwide and is recognised
as essential knowledge by the UKCAA, EASA, FAA and ICAO.
To encourage and foster a desire for continued
learning in the area of Human Factors in Aviation, such that participants
will see the programme as the first step in a career long journey
of positive attitudes and best practice in aviation.
To develop Teamwork and Leadership at a critical
stage in professional development.
To develop an understanding in the following areas
