George
Duncan
With over 28 years experience as a pilot in both
military and commercial aviation George Duncan was well placed to
start his own aviation training company in 1998. As founder and
CEO of The Human Factor, he and his
team have established a company that has a world-wide reputation
for excellence and quality in aviation training. He has worked tirelessly
over the last 11 years designing and delivering programmes aimed
specifically at reducing Human Error in aviation. The prime focus
of his efforts has been ‘Save Lives, Save Aircraft, Save Money’.
George has helped many aviation organisations to implement robust,
effective Human Factors strategies, which have resulted in those
respective companies making significant improvements in safety and,
as a result, huge savings in the often unseen costs associated with
repair of systems and equipment. He has a wide breadth of experience, having worked on the UK standing
committee for Human Factors and as a UK CAA Crew Resource Management
Instructor Examiner. He has been a keynote speaker at many international
aviation events and has forged many strategic training partnerships
from Norway through to the Middle East. Author of ‘The Skills
of Leadership and Interpersonal Effectiveness’, he holds a
Masters Degree in Human Factors in Aviation |
Instructional Staff
Our Instructors have a proven track record of success in a variety
of backgrounds with a wealth of experience in both the commercial
and public sectors. Selected for their first class facilitation
skills coupled with their innate leadership and management qualities,
which they display instinctively, all our people undergo a rigorous
familiarisation period with the company. We believe that in order
to sustain the quality of output in terms of delivery, a robust
concept of embracing best practice coupled with a system of standardisation/quality
checks across all areas of training delivery is essential. |
